The Harbus is the independent, non-profit
news organization of Harvard Business School.
Harsha is the CEO of the Harbus. She primarily works on the paper’s business development, marketing, and distribution functions. Harsha spends her time reading romantic literature, dancing to Indian folk beats and listening to New Orleans jazz. She is passionate about topics relating to retail, consumer products, and brand innovation.
Natasha runs operations at the Harbus and previously worked as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University. She spends her spare time reading books on social entrepreneurship, honing her culinary skills, and traveling, while dancing to 90s pop music.
Vaughn is the Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer of the Harbus. In this position, she’s responsible for all communications with our advertising partners and for the compilation and marketing of the Harbusadmissions products. She’s also the proud mother of one human and two Pomeranians.
Basma is a Product Manager at the Harbus. She grew up in Casablanca, Morocco, and has been exploring the world since she left her home country for higher education. In her free time, she enjoys discovering what Boston has to offer. Prior to HBS, Basma was a Mechanical Engineer working in Oil & Gas in Houston, Texas.
Upoma is the Editor-in-Chief of the Harbus. In addition to leading the all-star Harbus Editorial team to deliver stories that keep the HBS community connected and informed, she writes on the latest developments in the media and entertainment industry. Raseem is a current MBA student at Harvard Business School. Prior to HBS, he was working in Columbus, Indiana, in the industrial manufacturing space, where he helped to launch two new products in the automotive industry. Originally from Chennai, India, he cannot tolerate cold weather and can be seen wearing sweaters in August.
Noelia was born in Argentina and grew up moving around the world. Prior to HBS, she studied Biomedical Engineering between Madrid and California, worked a year in Japan, pursued a Master’s Degree in Korea, and worked in consulting for two years in Spain. She identifies herself as a global citizen and loves traveling and discovering new cultures. She’s passionate about storytelling and outdoor activities.
Anja is an EC partner who was born in Vietnam, grew up in the Czech Republic and relocated to the US with her husband from Singapore. She identifies herself as a global citizen and loves learning about the diverse personal stories of partners and families at HBS.
Heather is from Kentucky, once had lunch with Tom Selleck, and has eaten an entire container of Wasabi Peas in one setting, so I guess you could say she’s kind of a big deal.
Mike grew up outside Pittsburgh, PA. Prior to HBS, he worked for five years in engineering, product strategy, and program management at Ford, where his work spanned both automotive and the future of mobility. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Mechanical Engineering degree, and he played trumpet in the marching band. His favorite cereal is Reese’s Puffs, which you can usually find him chowing down on Zoom.
Cooper is very proud of being Californian despite not having lived there for seven years.
Israt Tarin (MBA ’22) came to HBS after working in the Oil and Gas industry as a Chemical Engineer. She was born in Chittagong and raised in Dubai, and she lives in Houston. She loves reading stories about people and wants to contribute to these stories being told to a wider audience.
Nishkam lived and worked in India prior to coming to HBS. An alum of IIT Delhi, Nishkam is deeply passionate about hammy comedy. He claims to have read over 500 books, most of which seem to be comic books and trashy fiction.
Felipe Cerón (MBA ’22) is a Chilean who previously worked in consulting and retail. He loves making music and acting, being an avid fan of film and television. Playing guitar, having a laugh over a beer, getting in the ring, and reading inspiring books are among his favorite pastimes.
