Libby Leffler is a first-year MBA candidate at Harvard Business School and a member of Section I. From 2008-2015, Libby worked at Facebook, most recently leading partnerships with influencers, causes, and world leaders.
From 2012-2015, Libby managed Facebook's global integration with institutions and individuals including the White House, Bill Gates, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Malala, United Nations, the Vatican, and American Red Cross. From 2009-2012, Libby was Business Lead to Facebook's Chief Operating Officer, Sheryl Sandberg. Prior to Facebook, she worked at Google from 2007-2008.
Libby is one of ELLE Magazine’s “Agenda Advisors” and, in 2014, was one of FORBES Magazine’s “30 Under 30” in the media industry. She graduated with honors from UC Berkeley where she was a UC Berkeley Alumni Leadership Scholar. Libby holds a BSc from the Walter A. Haas School of Business undergraduate program.LaToya Marc is a first-year MBA student at Harvard Business School, where she serves on the leadership boards of Section G and the African-American Student Union. LaToya has devoted her career to ending educational inequity and advocating for social justice. She joined Teach For America (TFA) in 2008 as a Metro Atlanta Corps Member teaching 7th and 8th grade math in Fulton County Schools. During her first year teaching, she founded the P.A.I.D. Scholars student and community incentive program and was named Teacher of the Year. In 2010, LaToya transitioned to TFA’s regional staff as the Director of Growth Strategy where she partnered with Superintendents and State officials to increase TFA’s footprint across the State of Georgia. From 2011 – 2015, LaToya led strategic initiatives on TFA’s national Admissions team, most recently as Chief of Staff to the Head of Admissions. During this time, she also served in local community leadership through the South DeKalb Improvement Association, and received an invitation from the Governor to advise the State on local education reform strategies. LaToya holds a bachelor of science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, where she graduated with highest honors. She currently resides in Boston, MA with her husband Ben and two-year old son Kingston.
