Winter warm-up

Blazing Brandy
1 cube Sugar
1 piece Orange Peel
2 oz Brandy

Combine ingredients in a glass. Light the Brandy with a match, stir with long spoon for a few seconds, and strain into a hot punch cup.

Chocolate Coffee Kiss
3/4 oz Coffee Liqueur
3/4 oz Irish Cream
1 splash Brown Creme de Cocoa
1 splash Grand Marnier
1 1/2 oz Chocolate Syrup
Hot Coffee

Pour liqueurs and chocolate syrup into a coffee mug and fill with coffee. Top with whipped cream, shaved chocolate and a cherry.

Hot Minty Kiss
6 oz Hot Coffee
1/2 oz White Creme de Menthe
1 oz Irish Whiskey
1/2 oz White Creme de Cacao

Pour the alcohol into a mug. Add coffee and stir. Top with whipped cream and a mini peppermint patty, a wedge of a full sized peppermint patty, or a chocolate mint.

Mexitaly Coffee
3/4 oz Coffee Liqueur
3/4 oz Amaretto
Hot Coffee

Dip rim of a mug in cherry juice or milk, then in cinnamon sugar. Pour alcohol into glass and fill with coffee. Top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate curls. Sprinkle with a light dusting of cinnamon sugar.

Mulled Red Wine
1 cube Sugar
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
1 dash Bitters
1 tsp Mixed Cinnamon and Nutmeg
5 oz Red Wine

Combine all ingredients in a metal mug. Warm on stove. For an exotic flair, heat a clean fireplace poker until it glows red and gently lower it into the mug. Hold it there until the wine begins to boil.

Boston Caribbean Coffee
1 oz Dark Rum
1 oz Brown Creme de Cacao
Hot Coffee

Dip rim of a mug in lime juice, then sugar. Pour Brown Creme de Cacao and Dark Rum into mug. Fill with fresh coffee. Top with whipped cream and cinnamon. Add a cinnamon stick, if desired.
