HBS retracts "no admissions mistakes" statement

(Mellon) Harvard Business School announced yesterday that, contrary to previous statements made by administration officials, so-called “admissions mistakes” were rampant throughout the school. Director of Admissions Brit Dewey confirmed reports that the entirety of Section B ’04 was accepted due to a “severe information technology system malfunction.” Added Dewey, “I guess our machines just went completely FUBAR.” Dean of the Faculty Kim Clark expressed deep disappointment with the current state of affairs. “Just look at that group – what were we thinking? I’m going to be apologizing to recruiters for at least the next five years over this one.”
