As ND entered this intramural basketball season, many people were skeptical of their request to have three teams in the league – two in the A league and another in the B league. These concerns were soon put to rest as the 25 players from section D hit the floor in the first week. The teams from the “House of D” are off to a strong start in the their respective leagues. The ND teams won four of their first five games and there is no sign of slowing down. A coach from the section said it best – “Somehow, the folks who scramble the sections put 2002’s best basketball players in Section D. It’s tough to have three teams and all of those teams be so damn good, but somehow we will deal with it.”
