Cheer: To Case Protagonist Bill Feth (’75), CEO of Akron Electronics Supply Company. After finishing Supply Chain class with the normal case protagonist wrap-up, Feth went above the call of duty and gave us heartfelt advice about maintaining work/life balance, giving back to the community, and exercising freedoms. The ovation Feth received was the most sustained clapping witnessed in an HBS classroom in quite a while.
Cheer: To Professor Andre Perold, for pulling out all the stops in Investment Management class. While we were deciding whether or not Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (KKD) was a good buy, Professor Perold imported some product from New York for us to gnaw on during class.
Jeer: To the administration, for putting the kaibash on EC hijinks in welcoming the RCs to their sections. C’mon, no one really cares if they can hear some cheering or clapping upstairs in another room. Or maybe the administration is afraid these noises will interfere with the sensitive recording devices they use to listen to our every whisper?
