In the battle of the sections, the Section B elders came away victorious and out scored the youngsters 52 to 27. OB’s relentless full court press and prolific scoring from the outside proved too much for the young Bees to handle. Once again Colin McCafferty led all scorers while Nick Lane was busy on the boards pulling down everything in reach. Given OB’s miraculous turn around from last year’s winless season, NB should have something to look forward to next year.
Gracious in defeat, NB did buy the beers at Shay’s after the game.
